Ted Reedy, Lyric Counter Tenor
Ted earned his Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University and received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Instructors he has studied voice with include Mike Ruckles, John Seesholtz, Julie Simson, Darrell Babidge, Trish McCaffrey, Beth Clayton, Charmaine Coppom, Lawrence Vincent, and Arden Hopkin. Ted has experience in the contemporary/opera/musical theater world and is the male lead singer in the band “Homeslice” (https://homesliceband.com/) Some favorite roles include Nanki-Poo in The Mikado, Will Parker in Oklahoma, Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, Bob Wallace in White Christmas, Joseph/Judah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hoffman in Les Contes D’Hoffman, and Mr. Angel in The Impresario. He is also a director and producer of musical theater productions.
